Commercial Garage Door Repair

A broken garage door can not only be frustrating, it can cost you time and money. Problems can range from something as simple as a broken hinge to panels out on the ground. Either way, it is important to get your entrance opened up as quickly as possible!

Broken Spring Replacement

If your door doesn’t go up, nine times out of ten, it’s the torsion spring system. Doors that have a high usage rate will have this problem more often and is something you should keep in mind if a particular door is vital to operations.

Once our techs arrive on site, they will get measurements on the door such as size and weight. We use this information to calculate the exact replacement spring your door needs.

If we have the correct size of spring in stock, we will replace the spring while on site. If we don’t have the correct spring, we use a temporary repair method to get your door operational until a new spring arrives.

Cable Replacement & Repair

Another common issue is a broken, damaged or misaligned cable. Over time the cables can become frayed causing additional problems. We carry replacement cables and the parts needed to make custom cable lengths. Either way, we can get you running no matter what size of door you may have.

Damaged Garage Door Panels

Garage doors are particularly vulnerable to heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractor trailers. However, just because your panels are bent and crooked, doesn't mean we can’t do anything with it. Using a combination of steel reinforcement struts and brute force, most doors can be made operational again.

Commercial Operator Service and Repair

Although modern garage door operators are reliable, they contain many moving parts and wear points. We oil, grease and adjust your operator as necessary to keep things running in optimal condition. We stock most of the needed operator parts so that, in the event your operator does break down, we can get most issues resolved in one trip.

(Why you want to maintain your door and what our techs do on site.)

 Adjusting Door Spring Tension.

  • Why do my springs need adjusted?

    • Keeping your springs adjusted properly is one of the best things you can do for your garage door. Out of balance springs make the door heavy to lift up and down. If you have an electric opener, it puts more strain and stress on the operator, causing it to wear out prematurely. Your door will take unnecessary strain as well since the added force needed to open the door puts additional pressure on the hinges and sections.

  • Adjusting Tension.

    • When servicing your garage door, we will check the current balance of the springs. If the springs need adjusted, we continue adding tension until the door sits a few feet off the floor held up only by spring tension. We will also oil the springs and check for broken or damaged parts.

Oil Door Hinges, Rollers and Bearings

    • Why Maintenance?

      • Commercial garage doors are resilient pieces of equipment that can continue to run despite broken or damaged parts. With this in mind, it can seem like a waste to spend money on a working door. On the other hand, your garage door is the most important entrance into your facility. A broken garage door can cost you both time and money.

    • Garage Door Preventative Maintenance

      • When servicing your garage door, we go over the entire thing, checking for bent hinges, damaged rollers, worn bearings, twisted brackets and frayed cables. We stock most of the necessary parts to get your door running on the spot. Using a specially formulated garage door oil, we lube all hinge points, rollers, springs, and bearings. We also oil and grease the chain and rail of your electric operator as needed.

Rolling Door Repair and Maintenance

Rolling doors present special maintenance and repair challenges. Their large size and heavy construction require special techniques to keep running properly.

Slat Replacement

Rolling doors are made up of many small links to form the curtain part of the door. If one of these slats gets bent or damaged, the door will fail to operate properly. We offer support and parts for a large number of rolling door manufacturers and sizes. We can also perform windlock and bottom bar repair when needed to keep your rolling door operational when you need it the most.
